    u know what 90210 fans, this is the first time ever that i watch shows like 90210(teen tv shows), just to stare at mr.matthews(THE TEACHER). im not even interested in the student characters like so-called hottie ethan, ethan is not even that hot. he cant make me jump out of my seat like chuck bass can! peace! HAHAHAHA. n gossipgirl’s lines are just way too witty compared to 90210’s..! i mean naomi just looks too old for her character. 90210’s storyline is too plain, come on! i saw the 9 n 10th episodes of 90210, n i fell asleep thru it, talk bout boring!     okay so i love both of these shows, but gossip girl is the best hands down! the story lines are so much better and the acting is better too. 90210 is too predictable, and while i still love it, its almost too after-school-special for me. like seriously, what 16 year olds that look like that would really suddenly decide to be all lovey-dovey and say no to sex? its crazy. and naomi doesnt even look like her age. gossip girl is just so much more juicy and scandalous, i just love it!

    You got to be kidding me.
    90210 is just another excuse for substandard SPIN-OFF. It’s a disgrace to the original series, and a disgrace for american tv shows. LOOK at the meager standard? Poor acting, poor script, poor budget, poor music, and fulgy actors, it’s just another teen-soap drama that everyone has been through once in their life.
    GG has the zest, it’s extraordinary, It’s ENTIRELY different compared to 90210. The scale is enormous. From the costume design, to the music director, my god, do u even need to compare?

    For the umpteenth time, 90210 suckers, go get a life. I couldn’t even get past the first 15 min. Do you need glasses to tell that none of the actors are even HOT? IS THERE EVEN A NEED TO COMPARE???

    If Chuck Bass is ugly, the 90210 actors must be hideous, in fact, they are. The females are way too skinny, obviously, and the main character, the girl who smokes and does that annoying thing with her voice is discusting to look at. Gossip girl has somewhat believable and entertaining storylines, 90210 however.. a guy taking a girl on a plane for their first date? A teacher posing as a student just to find drugs and falling in love with the teacher? The druggo girl not dying after it was clear that she should have.. and the sudden love confession for her from the guy that never even spoke two lines until that episode. Oh and who can forget this random ‘Hank’ guy coming up that got her pregnant? Oh, and the scamming lovechild that ran away with money because he got mysterious phone calls? Oh joy.

    I’ve narrowed down the 90210 viewers to a few groups:
    1. The pre-pubescent teens that don’t know REAL shows.
    2. The old 90210 lovers, watching for the guest stars.
    3. People who watch it to mock and laugh at it, or just get plain mad at the stupid remake.
    4. People who have nothing else to watch.
    5. People who geniunely like it. (Scary..)

    Overall, gossip girl is much better, the actors are better, the clothes are better, the plot is better, and it’s not a stupid remake trying to get famous by the old fans.

    OMG this is no comparison…GG wins hands down! It actually gets critical acclaim while no one thinks 90210 is any good! Not to mention that the actors are sooo much hotter (ummm Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford compared to who? Dustin Milligan? Wow) and the clothes are way better. The Upper East Siders are richer than the vapid, superficial LA idiots, so I guess it’s not surprising that GG girls are wearing Chanel and Zac Posen while the 90210 girls are wearing American Apparel.
    So overall, GG is the best show on TV!

    GG is winning on a 90210 website? I watch 90210 when I’m waiting for Gossip Girl, but it is not even close to Gossip Girl’s greatness. The plots, fashion, setting, everything is better, and the show can go somewhere. 90210 is set in a school, what happens when they graduate? If it continues it won’t be good at all, Gossip Girl doesn’t even have a classroom set. Gossip Girl is so much better, but if you have absolutely nothing else to watch 90210 is.. okay.

    Hey does anyone think that 90210 has pretty much the same storylines as Gossip Girl? I’ve only seen the first episode of the former and am an avid fan of the latter but here are some analogies I have drawn:

    - Annie and Dixon = Dan and Jenny
    Outsiders in a rich world trying to fit in.

    - Despite the aforementioned point, there is an element of the worlds crossing over in the past before the kids knew each other, i.e. the rich woman dating the not so rich guy…headteacher and rich parent of Nicole (?) = Lily and Rufus storyline, hellooo?!

    - Annie befriending the Queen Bee, Nicole = Jenny’s awkward relationship with Blair

    - Ridiculous over the top parties in both series (Upper East Siders do it better of course )

    - Younger teachers trying to put the spoilt, rich kids in their places – hot teacher with the English book report in 90210 = the new Shakespeare teacher at Constance in GG

    You see my points? Now with similar storylines, you’d think the quality would be about equal, but in my opinion – Gossip Girl wins hands down; if you’d see the effort they put into that show with the design, costume, transitions, script, and an air of mystery about the main character who you cannot see!

    HOWEVER i agree that people should give 90210 a chance, i recently started watching it and i really like it.

    90210 has a bland, cliched script with bad actors. Everything is predictable, everything has happened before at some point of time in hollywood history. Gossip girl however, puts a spin on everything.

    In 90210, The “Blendeds” can’t even carry off their so-called mean streak like the girls in gossip girl. 90210 just doesn’t have the same atmosphere as gossip girl.

     I love the new 90210 but i don’t really like the actress who plays annie, she seems to over act and i can’t stand her facial expressions!! I’m not sure whether i hate the character or the actress but i think if they had picked a different actress instead of Shenae Grimes i would of warmed to Annie more. Gossip girl is wkd too! Don’t know which one i like more?!?! xxx

     hmmmm.. well lets see…. blair is like 10 leagues above naomie, chuck is waaaaaay hotter than ethan and serena is just like a much more intruiging good girl compared to annie whos just kinda predictable…. now add nate and dan (both sooo sexy i think) and jenny who is great aswell ontop of all the jucy gossip and outrageous scandals…. sorry guys but i think we have a winner

     I looooveee Gossip Girl but every time I watch a new episode of 90210 I start to love that show even more.. The latest couple of episodes of gossip girl are totally borring.. apparently because blair and chuck don’t have any scenes in it … XD and 90210 is getting better… well .. we will see in , about 5 years which show became the best..

     LMAO I nearly died laughing when I saw the results!!! Gossip Girl has the lead with 61%, and this is a 90210 FANSITE!!!!!
