Doesn’t every girly soap has this story line? I mean come on, all those things even happen in ‘As The World Turns’.

umm are you serious haha.
the thing you have to remember is they are both teen shows for the same target audience who all presumably enjoy this sort of thing. of course there’s going to be similarities. funnily enough you missed off the differences, differences that strangely enough place the shows on totally different levels… as a massive fan of both shows i have to say i have never even noticed these before and i watch both .

LA and NYC are two huuugely different places. the way they dress, act, talk, places they go, attitudes and all are completely different. plus a lot of things in 90210 definitely weren’t in gossip girl and vice versa…

Bree I COMPLETELY agree!…Like jimmy said all of the other Teen shows are the same! You can’t change that!…There IS only so much to choose from!…Each program just has to do it in their own unique way, which they have done and really well…It’s kinda a silly list…And the last one is totally funny! It’s real life, the writers have nothing to do with it! LOL!…

omg ye!!!! i reliseed that a long tym ago and gossip girl cant copt 90210 bcoz it came out earier and finished early…. gg is totaly orginal and has the betta sense of fashion (for girls) everyone tries to jack da style!

bu i still luv 90210 i mean itz amazing and it doesnt seem 2 similar since the ppl in gg look olda bu i love 90210 itz so sweet….

mind u gg is cool and i lyk the title and the theme of not knowin hu gg really is and the whole website fingy…. it makes it more interesting since everyone finds out about the wrong things….

I see the similarities, but they both have to deal with the same thing. Teen issues. There’s only so much to choose from. Plus, the last one kinda can’t be controlled by the writer’s of the show.
